Rebecca Whitener

Biography

Rebecca is a professional musician who studied clarinet at The Royal Academy of Music and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. Amongst a successful freelance playing career, Rebecca is a teacher, coach, conductor, administrator, and mentor for various organisations in and around Scotland. Passionate about music education, community and inclusion, Rebecca joins the Scottish International Tuba Festival as our central coordinator, and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, organisation and energy to the SITF team.
